Our Pharmacy Technician course gives you practical learning on campus and will teach you all the key skills and pharmaceutical knowledge you need to start your career.

During this course you will learn everything you need to know to become a Pharmacy Technician. You’ll learn how to provide accurate health advice to customers and your community.

You'll also gain real world industry experience and complete 320 hours at a pharmacy provider as part of your training.

Entry criteria

  • Applicants must be aged 18 or older. International students must be 18 years old or over
  • Applicants should have an appropriate year 12-13 academic achievement, hold a complementary tertiary qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge.
  • An academic IELTS score of 6 is required. IELTS 6.5 is highly recommended to be successful in the programme due to the high level of technical content in the programme; and an interview may be required.
  • Domestic applicants will need to demonstrate sufficiency in English language or, where required, complete and pass a reading/writing placement test; and an interview may be required.
  • International students must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.
  • International students and Chemist Warehouse: Conditions apply around work visa restrictions.
