In this practically focused programme, you will learn from skilled professionals and gain the fundamental skills and knowledge required to work as a fully qualified barber.
This programme covers all aspects of the barbering industry, from barbering culture to modern fades, classic short cuts and beard trims, including in-house operations and client interactions. You will have the opportunity to put your skills and knowledge to practice with work-based learning in FadeIT, our on campus commercial barber shop, working with clients and the latest barbering tools and equipment. Each client service is a step closer to becoming a fully qualified commercial barber.
You will also learn how to comply with health and safety requirements and meet professional barbering expectations and industry standards to be able to successfully contribute to various commercial barber shop operations.
