DUKE Institute of Studies is a specialist English language school situated on the North Shore in the picturesque suburb of Takapuna Beach, conveniently close to downtown Auckland. Our school offers English courses including IELTS preparation classes for adults and young learners, and English lessons for high school students. All our short-term courses for international students include the option of homestay accommodation with local families.

Established in 2001, DUKE Institute of Studies was taken over by Noona Lee and Seyoun Kim in 2015 as a family owned and operated enterprise. Since then, the school has undergone a number of changes to transform it into a world-class English language school. It provides a supportive environment with small-sized classes, experienced teachers and staff, and top homestay families.
