Summary

Kuranui College has a clearly defined community – the Southern Wairarapa. It is a dynamic, rapidly changing and growing community. Our students come from a variety of different backgrounds, both rural and urban, making our community very diverse and vibrant.

Our co-educational college offers the warmth, encouragement and intimacy of a small school whilst being able to implement some of the most innovative teaching ideas in New Zealand. The facilities are second to none and the teaching is of the very highest standard.

We are proud of the college’s academic, sporting and cultural achievements and our students’ commitment to these areas of college life. Kuranui staff value high academic achievement above all else. We believe that our primary responsibility is to motivate our students to achieve their best, fulfill their potential, and after five years at the college, leave equipped and fully prepared for the next phase of their lives.
